Yesterday, Columbus Crew SC announced its full preseason schedule in advance of the 2017 season, highlighted by training in Sao Paulo, Brazil and in the 2017 Carolina Challenge Cup – a preseason tournament in Charleston, South Carolina.
The team will be in Central Ohio at SuperKick in Powell from February 13-15 for additional preseason training. Following the time in Ohio, the club travels to Charleston, South Carolina to participate in the 2017 Carolina Challenge Cup. Hosted by the Charleston Battery of the United Soccer League, Crew SC is set to be joined by three other MLS sides. The four participating teams will play in a round-robin style tournament over the course of three days. Broadcast information will be available at a later date.
